This is the medicine cat's den, where the medicine cat sleeps.

It was a rather quite in Windclan. There weren't any kits being born, there weren't any elders complaining, and it was a rather peaceful day. Windclan's Medicine Cat, Twistedpath, was sitting near a large pile of herbs that she had been sorting, making mental notes of what to collect when she goes out of camp. The white and black she-cat was sitting a little weird, for her left leg seemed to be poking out. That was the leg she had broken as a kit. It grew along with the rest of her body, but its muscle mass disappeared, and the leg's bone reformed a little weird. This didn't bother her at all, but it wasn't that good when running from another hawk. The she-cat yawned before turning back to her pile of herbs. She started sorting again, just to take an edge off of her boredom.

Sweetpaw padded up to her mentor and smiled. She sat next to her and said, " Need anything else? Things aren't going so fast today, and I already checked the elders for ticks twice!" She laughs a bit, leans her head back and gazes at the clear sky and sighs happily, "I think days like this are nice..." She stops abruptly and twists her head back towards Twistedpath and says again, " So, is there anything left to do? Are stock piles are already full, everyone's taken care of, and the day is shining. I never thought I'd have nothing to do when I became an apprentice off of what all the other apprentices say!" She smiles broadly at her little joke.

Twistedpath looked up from her billionth time of sorting when Sweetpaw came up to here. The she-cat sighed, twitching her tail. "Remember, you aren't a Warrior's apprentice. If you were, then you'd be up to your ears in battle training." Twistedpath knew this from experiance. Well, she actually just watched her friends while they were training and she was stuck in the Medicine Cats' Den for many moons while waiting for her leg to heal. She had been a kit for eight moons. EIGHT MOONS. She was late for her apprentice ceramony, and she had to be a Medicine Cat. Eh, that wasn't too bad. In fact, she liked being a Medicine Cat. She didn't have to go on treks around the whole entire territory just to make sure that another clan's warrior, apprentice, or kit hadn't wandered over the border. The she-cat sighed again. "Maybe we should take a stroll around outside the camp... It'd be nice to streach my good legs. Sitting around, sorting herbs isn't the best activity to do all day."

Sweetpaw nodded and stood up. She had been trying to lift her mentor's mood, but she failed miseribly. She tilted her head and looked at Twistedpath's bad leg. She didn't mind it as it seemed so Sweetpaw didn't talk about it. Altough, Sweetpaw often wondered what kind of healing it took. Perhaps she should ask...

Sweetpaw's head jerked up as she heard a screech of pain. She looked at her mentor in horror and said, "It sounds like Frostpaw."
